Foilco’s acclaimed design gathering Multiplicity, is set to return on 5th February 2026 at St James Church, Clerkenwell marking both its tenth anniversary and its first event since November 2019.
The evening will bring together leading voices from the creative industries, with speakers including Nils Leonard and Lisa Smith from Uncommon Creative Studio, Joseph Lebus from Porto Rocha and Kirsty Carter and Emma Thomas, founders of A Practice for Everyday Life.
Since its inception, Multiplicity has established itself as an essential gathering for designers, illustrators, photographers and artists across the UK and Europe. Previous editions have taken place in Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh and Copenhagen, with the 2020 event cancelled due to the pandemic.
“Multiplicity has always been about creating genuine space for our creative community to connect and learn from each other,” said Matt Hornby, Foilco’s Chief Creative Officer. “Reaching our tenth year feels significant – it shows there’s real appetite for these honest conversations about design practice. We’re excited to bring together this calibre of speakers and continue building the connections that make our industry stronger.”
The event reflects Foilco’s long-standing commitment to supporting the design community. As a company that has been servicing the design industry for over 30 years, offering the UK’s largest range of hot stamping foils, Foilco created Multiplicity to give back to the creative sector it serves.
“We’re always visiting and speaking with designers and creatives, so we understand the community aspect involved,” added Matt. “Multiplicity is our chance to support that community whilst also educating designers about what we can offer.”
The evening will be hosted by Creative Review Editor Eliza Williams and will feature The Makers’ Vault, a dedicated area showcasing our event sponsors: James Cropper, Winter & Co, Baddeley Brothers and Dreyer Kliche.
